Ready to get Real?

It's been a long time coming, but Real is finally here!
I really thought that I'd finish the series with this one, but after getting so much great feedback from my Street Team, I've realized that there's still more to tell.  A huge thank you to my amazing team, Bryan Miller, my editor, and Ashley Johnson for her phenomenal cover art!

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it, and yes...book 3 is already in the works!

Let's Get Real!

I know it's been a long wait, but I am so excited to share my cover reveal with you for the sequel to Simple. Book Two is titled, Real and picks up one year after the war has ended between humans and their cyber-genetic counterparts.

Humans are doing their best to reclaim their spot at the top of the food chain. Hailey Pachello has made her home in Redburg, a small forgotten town on the outskirts of the desert in Southern California. Life hasn't been easy, but those who have survived have hope.

Things are about to get Real.

The cover art has been created by the very talented, Ashley Johnson. I could not be more pleased with her creativity, and her ability to bring what I imagine to life!

Watch for the release date, coming soon!

Nice Work, Katie Ruth Davies! My Review for Blood Omen Book I: The Vampire Wars (Blood Omen Saga #1)

Blood Omen Book I: The Vampire Wars (Blood Omen Saga #1)Blood Omen Book I: The Vampire Wars by Katie Ruth Davies
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really love a good YA Fantasy novel that takes a reader in and makes the magic realistic, but equally takes you on a journey through the emotions of the main characters. Davies doesn't disappoint with the deep emotional insight she provides for the main character, a young teen named Dea facing a difficult time in her life. I loved the friendship that the book starts with between her and her best friend Ana, and the way the story pulls you in makes you feel like you're actually in the room with them sharing their experiences. There are many vampire books out there, but this one has a refreshing angle that I really enjoyed. Davies gives the reader rich details that help in understanding the "whys and "whats" of the dark side of the lore, and that makes it all the more enticing to read. There's a balance between action, suspense, and romance that I found very entertaining. Let me also say that Santi is amazing and the romantic aspect keeps you turning the pages. The ending takes you to the suspenseful edge of the next book and I'm definitely interested in finding out what happens next!
